Founded in France by Patrice Benetau in 1892, the brand has been loved throughout Europe and is now redefining sports fashion in South Africa through endurance, stability and reliability.
Patrice designed his very first pair of shoes in Pozauges, a small village in the Vendée, France. Since then, Patrick has become a brand of choice for sports stars.
Patrick was the first brand to introduce the legendary 2 stripes and 3 stripes on its shoes. The stripes were initially born out of technical considerations as they were used to strengthen the shoes in the front and at the back in order to avoid deformation of the shoe. With constant technical improvement on the shoes, the stripes were less functional and became the brand’s hallmark design.
